Starting with Highlander’s Hope, Ms. Cameron’s Castle Bride series is simply one great book after another. The Earl’s Enticement is the third book in the series. The authors wit shines through a wonderful story of adventure, a fast-paced plot, and characters full of life. You’ll fall in love with Adaira(Addy) and her hero, Roark, the Earl of Clarendon, from the moment you turn page one.
Surprising twists and turns throughout the story keep you on your toes. A wonderful Scottish tale with an intelligent, strong heroine, yummy hero, and more laugh-out-loud moments than you can count.
The Earl’s Enticement gets 5 Red Pumps!
She won’t be tamed.
A fiery, unconventional Scot, Adaira Ferguson wears breeches, swears, and has no more desire to marry than she does to follow society’s dictates of appropriate behavior. She trusts no man with the secret she desperately protects.
He can’t forget.
Haunted by his past, Roark, The Earl of Clarendon, rigidly adheres to propriety, holding himself and those around him to the highest standards, no matter the cost. Betrayed once, he’s guarded and leery of all women.
Mistaking Roark for a known spy, Adaira imprisons him. Infuriated, he vows vengeance. Realizing her error, she’s appalled and releases him, but he’s not satisfied with his freedom. Roark is determined to transform Adaira from an ill-mannered hoyden to a lady of refinement.
He succeeds only to discover, he preferred the free-spirited Scottish lass who first captured his heart.

Hi Collette! I loved finding out more about The Earl’s Enticement! Since my husband and I just recently celebrated our 44th anniversary if I was going to try to Entice” an Earl I’d do exactly the same thing I did to entice my husband – I’d feed him well! Of course my husband was in the Navy at the time so giving him a great home baked meal (or course with a great dessert!) had him coming back for more! I guess after being feed questionable food while serving on an aircraft carrier made him appreciate the small things in life – much like an Earl who expects every thing to meet his high standards! It’s amazing how much a home cooked meal can make a man forget all those things he thought he wanted!,
Jeanne, my hubby swears he married me for my pot roast. It was the first meal I ever cooked him. He proposed 2 weeks later.
How to entice an Earl. I saw one dress with big flowers placed of each breast (Victorian, not regency…they had more taste in the regency era). Clearly it had been an attempt to entice an Earl, but I doubt it worked. I’ve bought your earl, so I’ll find out soon enough how to entice him, but I’m certain it won’t included cloth flowers on my bosom.
Liza, gads, big ol’ flower bosoms? Kinda would like to see that!
These day’s I’d feed him well to draw him in…. Then train him to cook for both of us. 😉
Love Collette’s books! 🙂
Hi Glenda! Wonderful to see you here. I love that…train him to cook!
Such pretty covers. I don’t think you can go wrong with a Scottish/historical mix. Good luck with your latest release, Collette.
Thanks, Shelley. I seem to be drawn to the mixed genre Scottish historicals. I’ve got another 6-book series of them.
Hmm..all kinds of things. Thanks for the giveaway.
