12 Days of Christmas

Welcome to the Twelve Days of Christmas 2013!

On the 1st Day of Christmas … I’m starting with a non-Christmas book, but it’s one that you’re going to love if you read historical romance. Jessica Jefferson popped onto the charts with her debut novel Compromising Miss Tisdale the first week in November. Five weeks later, she’s still soaring at the top of the rankings, #29 in Regency Romance, and her reader feedback is phenomenal. As it should be! It’s a must-read and I can’t wait until her next release in the series arrives early 2014.

I’m giving one lucky winner a copy of her eBook.  Simply go to her website, JessicaJefferson.com, find something interesting about her or her books, and come back to leave a comment. I’ll randomly pick a winner tomorrow morning and announce him/her in my 2nd Day of Christmas post.

Regency Blooms Series  Not since the Bennett’s, have sisters enjoyed such romantic escapades!  Mother-hen Ambrosia, the warm and witty Lillian, hoyden Tamsin, and mild-mannered Rose try to navigate through their own respective romances while weaving in and out of each other’s.   Follow each of the Tisdale sisters as they stumble through love.

Compromising Miss Tisdale CoverAmbrosia Tisdale is the very picture of propriety and the epitome of what a respectable young lady should be.  Haunted by a memory and compelled by her family, she pursues perfection to a fault.

The Earl of Bristol, Duncan Maddox, has returned to London after years of familial imposed exile.  As the second son, he has led a life filled with frivolity, leisure, and a healthy dose of debauchery.  Now his older brother has died, leaving the family’s flailing legacy in Duncan’s unwilling arms.

At the behest of his uncle, Duncan is advised to do the one thing that could provide instant fortune and respectability – he must marry.  But there is only one prospect who meets all the unique requirements to solve all the Earl’s problems – the lovely Miss Ambrosia Tisdale.  But securing Ambrosia’s hand will not be easy.  The prudent daughter of a Viscount proves to be a worthy adversary for the scandal ridden second son of an Earl.

Duncan has no choice but to compromise Miss Tisdale.

But with scandal, extortion, treachery, and even love itself threatening to keep him from his goal, compromising Miss Tisdale proves to be far more challenging than he had bargained for.

Did I mention – if you just can’t stop yourself from buying a copy before the winner is announced, or if you’ve already found this gem and bought it during the first five week’s of on-sale, I’ll gladly make a substitution.  Just let me know if you’re the lucky winner and I’ll provide a list of alternate titles to choose from.

Spread the word, share with your friends, you get extra entry points for posting on Facebook and Twitter.

  1. I’m looking forward to reading Jessica Jefferson’s 4 stories about 4 sisters. I haven’t read any of her books yet. Please enter me in your contest!

  2. I learned that in May 13 -18, 2014 she will be appearing at a workshop at the RT Convention in New Orleans, LA. She will be meeting readers Friday at 10am! I always think it’s exciting to meet the author behind the work. Just wish she’d be coming to a venue a bit closer to me in Eureka Springs, AR.
